Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RevSpots is operated by the RevSpots beta team. For privacy questions, contact privacy@revspots.app.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and hashed password (via Supabase Auth).
• Content: spots, photos, descriptions and location coordinates you submit.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic usage logs for security and debugging.
• Support requests: any content you send us by email.

3. How we use it

• Operating the beta platform (map, photo uploads, moderation).
• Security, abuse prevention and error diagnostics.
• Responding to support requests.

4. Processors

We use Supabase for authentication, database and photo storage, and Lovable for hosting. These providers process data only on our instructions.

5. Photo uploads

Uploaded photos are shown publicly on RevSpots once an admin approves them. Do not upload photos you do not own the rights to, or photos that show third-party personal data (e.g. faces, license plates) without consent. EXIF GPS data may be stripped before coordinates are stored.

6. Retention

Account data and content are retained while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and contributions at any time.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Send requests to privacy@revspots.app.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use strictly necessary local storage (e.g. login session, language preference). We do not set third-party tracking cookies.

9. Beta notice

RevSpots is in closed beta. Features, data model and this policy may change. We will communicate material changes by email or on the website.
